Citizen Design Build Inc. is a design and build firm specializing in residential construction. We are currently expanding and are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our dedicated team.

**Job Description**:

- Study job specifications and determine appropriate construction methods
- Blueprint reading and layout
- Maintain high standards of quality workmanship
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, Net Zero standards, and regulations
- Direct and supervise apprentices
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite.
- Follow Citizen Design Build safety policy as required by Worksafe BC

Skills and Qualifications:

- Ticketed Red Seal Carpenter
- Familiarity with Net Zero construction practices
- Must be physically fit and able to comfortably lift 50lbs
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude, hardworking, reliable
- Must be a team player
- Must support the development and continued improvement of apprentices

**Salary**: From $35.00-$38.00 per hour

Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday 7:30am
- 4pm, based in Chemainus
