We are looking for a Certified BRP Service Technician to join our growing premier powersports service department.

**WPM Westlock**

Westlock Powersports & Marine is an authorized BRP dealer (Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo, and Can-Am). We also carry White River Marine Group boats and specialize in aluminum fishing boats, pontoons, and fibreglass sport fishing boats. We have a lot of fun here at WPM and love all things in the mud, snow, or on the water. We carry lots of retail parts, apparel, and accessories and have a full-service service department as well.

A permanent, full-time Monday - Friday position is available. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and highly self-motivated individual to join our team Powersports and Small Engine experience is a must in order to be successful in this role.

Duties Include:

- Identify mechanical problems, often by using computerized diagnostic equipment
- Test parts and systems to ensure that the product is working as specified by the manufacture
- Follow and complete all necessary forms or checklist to ensure products are fixed correctly
- Perform Maintenance and Winterization on engines, boats, trailers but not limited to those listed
- Repair or replace worn parts in a requested or specified time period
- Disassemble and reassemble parts in a requested or specified time period
- Explain to Service Advisor the problems and repairs required to each specific work order
- Perform inspections for insurance purposes
- Any other duties as assigned*

*Any other duties may be assigned based on the dealerships needs & requirement

Assets or Requirements:

- BRP and/or Mercury Engine experience is required
- Automotive Mechanic Experience is an asset
- Mandatory that each technician has his/her own tools and toolbox.
- Having a forklift permit would be an asset
- Be able to work alone and occasionally as part of a team
- Be able to work under pressure or within a tight schedule
- Be able to show initiative

**Experience**:

- Service Technician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- BRP Technician Certification (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
