Voyis designs and manufactures high performance underwater optical sensors (lasers, cameras, lights) for autonomous underwater vehicles that expand capability and enhance understanding in underwater surveys and ocean exploration. **What you’ll do**:
In the role of **Technical Sales Associate** at Voyis, you will be working closely with the Head of Market to perform both inbound and outbound sales for the organization. In most cases, you will be the customer’s first point of contact and the driving force in developing a solution to solve their inspection requirements using Voyis’ products and capabilities.
Responsibilities include the identification of new sales opportunities, communication with prospective customers to understand all project requirements, and manage coordination with partner organizations or sales channels and internal stakeholders to effectively solve the customer’s inspection needs. Solving our customer’s challenges will require you to follow our internal sales process and generate proposals, presentations, or other collateral to effectively convey the solution on behalf of Voyis. In the Technical Sales Associate role, you will report to our Heads of Market and will support identifying/engaging with targeted accounts, and expanding revenue generated within a designated market.
You will interface with marketing and product teams to develop a strong understanding of the product offering and how Voyis’ capabilities can support your customers. A significant level of international travel is expected with the role to attend industry events, customers, and tradeshows on behalf of Voyis.
This position is tailored for entry level canditates.
**Specific responsibilities include**:
- Become the central point of contact for all external stakeholders in new sales opportunities, helping customers solve their inspection requirements with Voyis’ capabilities.
- Work with the Heads of Market to execute the industry’s sales strategy in conjunction with marketing and product teams.
- Identify and engage with the key industry targeted accounts and partners in an effort to expand sales growth.
- Generate bespoke quotations, proposals, presentations, and other sales collateral to effectively educate and communicate how Voyis’ solution meets our customer’s project requirements.
- Diligently maintain Hubspot CRM customer details and deal funnel for adequate sales forecasting.
- Work closely with Voyis’ marketing and Heads of Markets to identify gaps in industry content, and to support creation of engaging market specific materials.
- Travel internationally and domestically to attend industry events, trade shows, and visit customer facilities in order to build a strong presence in the market and to further strengthen customer/partner relationships.
- Continuously engage with customers, post sale, to ensure the customer is satisfied with Voyis’ delivery and to identify expansion opportunities for repeat sales.

- Technical diploma or degree (i.e. Bachelors of Engineering)
- Experience with managing or engaging with external stakeholders
- Experience in engineering consulting, project management or technical sales
- Experience working with Ocean technology
