Coke Canada's Public Affairs & Communications (PAC) team's vision is to be at the forefront for how bottlers build and manage their reputations globally.
Our goal is to build and enhance our social license to operate. Our role is to unearth and share the Coke Canada story internally and externally in a relatable (and sharable) way, in what we do and how we do it, we will be agents of change and drivers of the reinvention of the company and we will use data and facts to address perceptions as we evolve.
The Bilingual PAC coordinator will report into the Director, Public Affairs. This role will support the director’s government, industry and stakeholder relations activities as well as collaborate with the Manager, Community Relations to execute and administer Coke Canada’s local efforts in communities across the country. In addition, this role will oversee the PAC team Budget and overall finance management/coordination as needed.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensuring projects are executed on time through rigorous workplan development and management, including coordination of Public Affairs and Community Relations activities, cross functional teams, liaison with our community champions, and those of our communications agency.
- Community Relations Support and Coordination - provide support for national community relations partnerships/ activities, administer Community Steerco, manage and monitor community planning app (including data capture and analysis), coordinate national volunteerism activities, represent PAC on local engagement team, and ensure community activities are communicated in corporate communications channels.
- Stakeholder Coordination - maintain & update stakeholder and government contact lists for all key priority markets as well as national and provincial stakeholders. Support Director, Public Affairs’ stakeholder outreach and activities.
- Government Relations Coordination - develop and maintain lobbyist registry needs
- Team Budget/Finance Management and Coordination - maintain budget management and finance requirements for team.
- Assistance in general team administration, as necessary
**Qualifications**:
- Fluency in English and French
- Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma, with a focus on communications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and Microsoft Tools (including Yammer, Teams, SharePoint, Stream)
- Basic understanding of procurement tools and processes (SAP, ARIBA)
- Excellent verbal & strategic written comms skills
- Savvy about current and emerging social media channels and trends, someone who is on top of what is happening in the news
- Self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team
- Someone who delivers on-time, on-budget, and is accountable for their actions
