Responsible for assisting and maintaining financial records by accurately recording the day-to-day financial transactions of the Scarborough Basketball Association.

**Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities**
- check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, computer printouts
- allocate and post financial transaction details to subsidiary books
- transfer data to general ledger
- reconcile and balance all accounts
- maintain internal control systems
- manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- comply with relevant reporting requirements
- assist with audits
- maintain filing system to support financial records

**Education and Experience**
- Quick Books
- knowledge of bookkeeping practices
- knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
- knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
- knowledge of data management and financial data analysis
- bookkeeping certification

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $21.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Scarborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- QuickBooks: 2 years (required)
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (required)
