**JOB DESCRIPTION - Sales & Leasing Consultant**

This is a great opportunity for a driven sales person in the Senior Housing sector. Reporting to the VP of Sales, the incumbent is responsible for generating sales to achieve Community occupancy targets in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

**Performance Requirements**:

- Generate sales by engaging in tours, presentations and meetings with potential prospects to achieve property occupancy and revenue targets.
- Driving occupancy primarily through sales, but also by way of managing the community marketing program lead generation.
- Managing the sales function in conjunction with the Director of Marketing to drive qualified prospects into the community.
- Database lead management to maximize sales team prospect pipeline, through the use of the company’s CRM. (Yardi)
- Develop and nurture prospect’s information within the database, keeping succinct and accurate data within the CRM.
- Work with prospects from initial inquiry through move in, ensuring that exceptional customer service is delivered at all stages.
- Thorough knowledge of the competitive landscape.
- Work with marketing to gather, analyze and interpret competitive market data.
- Being creative, educated and persistent in following up with prospects to increase results.
- Work within the “extended market” to promote the Wellings of Stettler.
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively interact and co-operate with management colleagues, all staff and residents as well as external public officials, media officials and suppliers.
- Assist with Marketing programs, including community outreach and special events.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of marketing experience.
- Post-secondary education in sales, marketing, communications and/or business along with a proven track record in sales, preferably in the retirement or real estate industry.
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
- Strong organizational abilities and initiative are essential.
- Proven success in a fast-paced, high volume workload environment.
- Ability to conceptualize, innovate, and drive marketing initiatives.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ensure all team members understand the sales process and their role with same.
- Builds trust, values others, communicates effectively, drives execution, fosters innovation, focuses on the customer, collaborates with others, solves problems creatively and demonstrates high integrity.
- Explain and demonstrate the stages of the selling process (relationship building, planning the sales call, identifying priorities, relating and reinforcing benefits, feedback loop, demonstrating capability)
- Demonstrated presentation skills.
- Maintain solid knowledge of products and services offered at Wellings of Stettler.
- Identify and initiate contact with existing and potential clients.
- Schedule daily dedicated time to work on Prospect Lead-Management.
- Develop and implement effective quarterly marketing and community relations/special events plan in conjunction with team members.
- Ensure the Community shows well at all times and is tour ready.
- Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends as required in order to provide excellent service for our prospects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are key to success in this role.
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Analyze statistics to determine forward strategy and keep the pipeline full.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and potential prospects, their family, friends and all referral sources.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Wellings of Stettler team members.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
