Thomas’ Circle of Care Inc. has an exciting permanent opportunity for the House Leader at our Moose Jaw home The incumbent will be responsible to ensure the home and the children receive the proper care and attention and follow the plan set forth for the home to foster the holistic development of all children in the highest possible regard.

Primary Duties:
Ø Ensure the proper preparation of meals as per menu

Ø Prepare a weekly/biweekly grocery list and menu

Ø Effectively accounting and handling bank cards and petty cash.

Ø Ensure cleaning and maintenance of the premises as per schedule.

Ø Ensure the accuracy of daily logs

Ø Purchase day-to-day needed for day-to-day operations of the home.

Ø Attend/conduct monthly staff meetings and make staff shift schedules.

Ø Ensure proper and timely reporting.

Ø Coordinate and communicate with ministry workers for visits and relevant information sharing

Ø Maintain professionalism and confidentiality of staff and children’s information.

Ø Ensure all children’s medication is administered timely.

Ø Ensure children’s pick up and drop off for children’s daily activities.

Ø Ensure the children have proper clothing and school supplies.

Ø Ensure all forms from school/daycare that need to be signed by a Ministry Worker.
- **Qualification / Certifications: -**_

Ø Formal Education Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g Early Childhood Education or Social Work Diploma) is considered an asset.

Ø CPR/First Aid is required.

Ø Training in behavioral and crisis management is an asset.

Ø Must have supervisory and or management experience.

Ø Experience working with children with varying behaviors will be an asset.

Ø Day/Hours of Work
- Monday-Friday (7am-3pm)

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Regina, SK: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
