Job Duties:
As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Student Support Services Consultant will:
Provide therapeutic support for students.

conduct student behavioural screenings and assessments;
communicate and interpret results of assessments to team members;
design intervention plans and programming recommendations to address student behavioral needs;
work with administrators, teachers, students, and parents in developing positive behaviour support plans for students.

support the implementation of student classroom/school and at home interventions for academic, cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

work closely team members to ensure ongoing interventions and plans are addressing student needs;
Collaborate with Senior Administration, the Director of Student Services, and school-based administrators to provide workshops and professional development opportunities for staff.

Education, Certifications & Experience:
Masters Degree (or higher) in Psychology or Counselling Psychology.

Professionally registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP)
