Newcastle, Canada Country Tropicals Full time

Busy wholesale tropical greenhouse looking to hire a part-time driver to work different day shifts Monday-Friday. Hours will range week to week on a part time & casual basis. Hours typically range between 15-30 hours a week with the possibility of some early morning start times. Routes are pre-planned and trucks loaded and ready to go when driver arrives for each shift.

Requirements;
- Comfortable driving throughout Ontario, as west as London and as east as Ottawa
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs repeatedly; product is shipped loose and in boxes and needs to be removed from the truck by hand at each location/store front
- Pleasant attitude when meeting customers for their deliveries and providing invoices
- Applicants must have a clean driving history and minimum of 3 years experience driving a cube van and 5 tonne truck (or any large "heavy vehicle") - this information will be verified by the insurance company

Applicants will be provided with paid on-duty training with another driver on delivery routes and procedures.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
