Job Overview:
**Duties**:

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate the children's physical, emotional, and intellectual growth
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for all children in the classroom
- Monitor and assess each child's development and progress
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

**Skills**:

- Proficient in writing and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities to manage classroom activities effectively
- Competent in computer operations for record-keeping and educational resources - HiMama
- Experience in special education or willingness to learn
- Fluency in English: Written and Verbal
- Prior childcare experience - 3+ years of in-class experience
- Excellent time management skills to balance various tasks efficiently
- Ability to engage and interact positively with children of varying ages
- Passion for creating engaging and educational experiences for young learners

**EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR (ECE) LEAD POSITION**

We are looking for a Full-Time Lead ECE teacher in our Preschool (2.5 - 4 years old) classroom.

**PAY**
- _**Base pay amount will be dependent on the applicant's years of experience in the classroom.**_
- **additional top-up on base pay** - up to $2.00 per hour Provincial Wage Enhancement by the Ontario Government _(exact amount based on role and # of hours worked)_

**REQUIREMENTS**
- **Be registered with and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators**:

- Certified in Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (Level C)
- Have a clear police reference check with Vulnerable Sector Screening or obtain one
- Current Immunization Record & Health Check prior to starting
- **Minimum 2 years experience working within a child care classroom (eg. Toddler and/or Preschool classroom)**
