Seamstress

**Job Description**:
FLINT is seeking a local industrial seamstress in the Whitecourt, AB, area with expertise in fabricating high-quality insulation blankets and experience in construction and maintenance projects.

**What would you be doing?**
- Operate industrial sewing machines to create insulation blankets per technical specs.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials, including fibreglass, foam, and high-temp fabrics.
- Interpret technical drawings and adjust techniques as needed for accurate production.
- Inspect and ensure products meet quality standards; repair defects.
- Perform routine maintenance and report mechanical issues.
- Manage and organize an inventory of materials and supplies.
- Follow safety protocols, use PPE, and adhere to company policies.

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a keen willingness to learn.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
