BWXT Medical Ltd is seeking a **Supply Chain Contract Services Manager** at its Kanata, ON location.

The contract services manager manages the contracts, relationships and expectations to ensure on time delivery, product quality and competitive costs related to products and services provided to BWXT
Medical from 3rd party contract manufacturing and service providers. This role will work with engineering, quality, operations and project teams to manage strategic suppliers and protect the interests of BWXT Medical.

**Job Structure & Communications**

Reporting to the director of supply chain manger, the contract services manager will provide guidance and support to BWXT Medical’s supply chain group while managing strategic 3rd party contract manufacturing/services, leading issue resolution, and ensuring order fulfillment to meet company goals and project objectives.

**Accountabilities**:

- Managing $35+ million in spend with strategic suppliers.
- Plan and execute strategic and tactical actions to effectively manage strategic contract manufacturing and services.
- Manage direct order fulfillment process and customer commit dates.
- Risk mitigation, including excess and obsolescence management, secondary supplier management.
- Drive savings and efficiencies from all strategic suppliers, contracts and operating model.
- Develop and execute plans for outsourced assemblies and strategic components.
- Identify alternate sourcing plans to de-risk supply chain.
- Identify and collaborate on supplier management initiatives (material management, lead-time reduction, cost reductions, service improvement).
- Identify and implement improvements to the contract manufacturing/services process that enhance customer satisfaction, accelerate supply chain ramp to volume, reduce costs.
- Provide ongoing contract administration including revision management, schedule maintenance, warranty claim resolution, quality and commercial discrepancy settlement, etc., as required during the life a contract.
- Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial and supply contracts ensuring that they are in compliance with legal, regulatory and organization policies. Monitor the contract process to assure compliance with the organization's contractual guidelines, satisfaction of customer specifications and adherence to organization policy.
- Act as a contract liaison between the organization and customers/suppliers, including participation in precontract discussions, contract negotiations and contract changes.
- Effectively manage resources both direct reports and resources reporting outside their sphere of control.
- Lead multi-functional teams in complex negotiations of strategic Supply and Service agreements with critical suppliers.
- Provide supplier corrective action resolutions, supplier quality improvement and vendor claim cost recovery including quarterly reviews and scorecard.
- Support/Conduct supply chain, strategic vendor and CM communications for multiple BWXT Medical sites - monitor status and provide reports to management.
- Develop rapport with internal and externals groups in order to maximize supply chain management effectiveness.
- Create risk management plans in accordance with company policies and procedures working with Business Line Managers and Legal to evaluate and propose T&C positioning that balances competitiveness and risk.
- Other duties as required.

**KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Management, or combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years of experience of managing 3rd party contract manufacturing relationships
- 10+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management
- Strong working knowledge of complex manufacturing systems, component manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, testing processes, leases
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Strong leadership skills.
- Supplier & risk management skills
- Experience with evaluating and improving CM performance and managing that relationship to drive innovation, cost savings and quality to meet BWXT Medical goals and objectives
