Live in

Our live-in PSW's are scheduled 7 days in the clients home and 7 days off. You will have your own private bedroom and bathroom. You cannot live there all the time and another residence (homebase) in the area will be needed. We appreciate those who have life experience, so do not let your age keep you from applying. You will be supported by our Care Manager whose goal it is to help you be successful. This current posting is for Collingwood Ontario.

Your typical day:

- Personal services include toileting, bathing, catheter care and grooming
- Provide light housekeeping
- Run errands or provide transportation if needed.
- Assist with medications
- Prepare meals, purchase food and provide personal assistance with general living needs
- Provide companionship and conversation. Client is particularly interested in watching and talking about football. Sports knowledge is helpful
- Follow care plan and complete documentation
- Client has a cat. Daily maintenace is required.

Must haves:

- Demonstrated working experience with the elderly, knowledgeable with respect to their needs
- Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with residents, families, and visitors
- All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Proof of valid Covid19 vaccines
- Reliable vehicle, insurance and a valid driver's license.
