Timmins, Canada Magris Talc Full time

**This position is located at our Penhorwood Site which is located approximately **70km west of Timmins towards Foleyet and requires daily travel for scheduled shifts.**

**JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE**:

- Works under the direction of the Lead Operator and according to established Federal & Provincial regulations, and Company prescribed work procedures and safety policies.
- Operates, adjusts and maintains milling equipment and associated buildings.
- Performs product testing.
- Performs other duties related to mill activities to accomplish a safe and efficient operation.
- Maintains good housekeeping practices.

**JOB SCOPE/DIMENSIONS:
- Fully supports the Magris Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) programs by participating in their implementation, maintenance and enforcement as well as compliance with Corporate programs and policies.
- Takes proper samples from the circuit and performs production Quality Control tests required to ensure that quality standards are being met.
- Collects and performs testing on product samples for moistures and densities.
- Assists with the installation, relocation and testing of equipment.
- Sets up and operates typical mobile mining equipment - including but not limited to loader, back-hoe, grader and utility trucks to move ore or waste or to support other mine activities.
- Operates crushers, cleans, inspects and monitors equipment.
- Maintains, repairs, fuels and lubricates equipment as required and as per the manufacturer’s recommendations on a regular basis.
- Performs other equipment operation and routine maintenance duties.
- Maintains good housekeeping practices of crusher, floatation and drying building.
- Perform other duties as may be required and assigned by the Leader or Staff Supervisor.

- Strong communication skills
- Computer skills (basic excel and data entry)

- Stair climbing, standing, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS**:
**Education and Experience requirements**:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Preferably 1-2 years in a Mineral processing facility
- Basic Mill Common Core training program

**Knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics**:

- Takes additional training as necessary
- May be required to instruct or assist in the instruction or training of others
- Forklift Training and Certification
- First Aid Certification

**SPECIFIC ASPECTS:
- Sitting: 5 %
- Standing: 30%
- Walking:30%
- Lifting: 5% and up to 50lbs
- Climbing Stairs: 30%
- Heat and Colder temperature exposures at various time of year.
