**Job Title: Hybrid Landscaper & Handyman - Residential + Commercial**

**Location**: Multiple PropertiesPrivate Residence, 12,000 sq ft home on 1.6-Acre Property, 6,000 sq ft Shawnigan Lake main + cottage house on 1.8 acres, and 6 unit Commercial building

**Job Type**: Full-Time/Part-Time (Flexible), Hybrid

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance**:

- **Lawn Care**: Mow, edge, trim, fertilize, and aerate lawns to ensure a healthy and well-maintained appearance.
- **Gardening**: Plant, prune, weed, mulch, and care for flower beds, shrubs, and trees throughout the property.
- **Irrigation System Management**: Maintain, repair, and adjust sprinklers and irrigation systems to ensure proper water coverage.
- **Seasonal Maintenance**: Leaf and debris removal, snow removal, and other seasonal landscaping duties as needed.
- **Outdoor Features**: Clean and maintain outdoor hardscapes, including patios, walkways, driveways, garages and outdoor furniture.
- **Waste Removal**: Regular removal of yard waste and debris, and moving household bins in and out weekly.

**Handyman & Property Maintenance**:

- **Repairs**: Perform basic repairs on the properties including but not limited to basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and painting.
- **Home Maintenance**: Clean gutters, maintain fencing, and inspect the properties for any potential repair needs.
- **Preventative Maintenance**: Regular inspections of home systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and perform routine upkeep to ensure longevity.
- **Fixture Installation**: Assemble and install new fixtures or furnishings as needed (e.g., light fixtures, shelves, art work, cabinetry, furniture delivery).
- **Outdoor Structures**: Maintenance of outdoor structures such as decks, pergolas, and storage sheds.
- **Spa, sauna and cold plunge pool maintenance**: Clean, test, and maintain water quality and ensure proper functioning of pool/spa equipment.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in landscaping and general handyman services.
- Knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and pest control methods.
- Basic knowledge of home electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment (e.g., lawnmower, trimmers, leaf blowers).
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently as well as fit into a small team dynamic.

**Requirements**:

- Reliable vehicle
- Prior experience in a similar hybrid role preferred.
- Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and respond to emergency repair needs.
- Ability to work both outdoors and indoors year-round in varying weather conditions.

**Compensation**:

- Competitive salary based on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $26.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
