Calgary, Canada Calgary Co-Op Full time

We're currently seeking a Supervisor to join our Grocery team This position reports directly to the Grocery Manager, and some of the main responsibilities include:

- Provides customer service and maintains positive customer relations through the proper handling of questions, comments, requests and complaints. Effectively works in a diverse team environment in a proficient and friendly manner
- Plans and performs all aspects of the Grocery functions including but not limited to stocking and display functions including facing in an efficient and organized manner. Ensure daily presentation and proper stock levels are maintained in all areas.
- Handles merchadise ensuring quality, minimizing damages and markdowns. Provides substitutions and ensures price integrity including price changes.
- Provides supervision and direction to staff in Grocery and also administrative support to the Grocery Manager.

What skills and abilities will you need to be considered?
- Grade 12 education or acceptable combination of experience and education
- Six (6) months of grocery or equivalent retail experience, with strong product knowledge
- Basic receiving, ordering and merchandising skills
- Basic Word, Excel and Outlook

What skills and abilities will set you apart from others?
- Related post secondary education
- Experience in supervising others, and planning and organizing events, projects or programs
- Kronos Time Keeper knowledge
