We are looking for a Content Writer with an abundance of creativity and an eye for detail to join our new Skills Quest 4 Success Program. SQ4S is an asynchronous gamified training program designed to offer a unique online experience for Persons with Disabilities. The program will improve foundational and transferable skills and better prepare participants to meet on-the-job demands and enter or re-enter the labour force.

The Content Writer is responsible for researching, organizing, structuring, and writing engaging, and original written content for our SQ4S gamified training. Adhering to specific styles, the Content Writer is accountable for researching various topics, preparing well-structured drafts, integrating feedback from the Program Manager and Sr. Instructional Designer, and proofreading and editing project material to meet the needs of the SQ4S program.

**Essential Qualifications and Required Skills**:

- Degree in English, Journalism, or a related field; or a combination of education, training, and experience
- 3+ years of writing experience, preferably in an instructional, technical, or journalistic capacity
- Excellent grammar and writing skills
- A flare for storytelling and creative writing
- Ability to make complex ideas understandable - content must be easy to read and comprehend
- Proven work experience as a writer in similar capacities; a portfolio of published work will be requested
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time efficiently, and meet tight deadlines is required
