Monday-Friday hours: 11 am - 4 pm - 8 or 9 pm:
Saturday & Sunday hours: 11 am or 2 pm - 8 or 9 pm:
General Work Hours:
Seasonal: April - October (extended hours during summer)
Hours per week: 12-16

Education & Experience: Prior customer service is preferred but not required. Will provide the necessary training needed.

Primary Responsibilities / Essential Job Duties
- Greet all customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Prepare and serve all menu items (food and beverages) as per training
- Record customer orders into the POS System
- Identify customer issues/complaints and take necessary steps to correct them
- Keep the ice cream shop stocked with all necessary items including napkins outside
- Clean and organise the ice cream shop when necessary
- Clean outdoor seating area if necessary
- Notify management of all customer, ice cream machine and POS System issues
- Perform ice cream shop opening and closing duties as per training
- Must be able to work independently or cooperatively with a co-worker
- While assigned to a primary location (Kanata or Stittsville), may occasionally be required to work at the secondary location
- Complete the Food Handler Certification that is required by Ontario Ministry of Health

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Age: 16 years
- Previous Experience: Prior Service experience would be considered an asset
- Reliable Transportation (Able to work in Kanata or Stittsville locations)
- Able to use POS (Point of Sale) system
- Able to operate ice cream machine and beverage machines
- Food Handler Certification would be considered an asset (if already obtained), and will be provided to staff as a requirement

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 12-16 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
