**SCOPE**
- Keeps inventory control managers promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
- Fosters a cooperative and harmonious working climate conducive to maximizing employee morale and productivity.
- Takes periodic physical inventories and ensures that the investment in inventory is maintained at optimum levels.
- Authorizes adjustments made to the inventory and investigates the inventory issues like quality control complaints, customer complaints regarding products. Owns the reconciliation process; ensuring all reconciles are completed with care and accuracy.
- Establishes and executes cycle count schedule in compliance with the corporate accounting objectives ensuring KPI’s are always met & on track.
- Training and retraining team members on best practices while cycle counting.
- Completes and Investigates claims, i.e., shortages as well as overages and all related adjustments.
- Maintains the cycle count records so that it can be reviewed by the management and provides the reports related to cycle count activity.
- Prepares analytical and statistical reports on operations and activities; including ensuring KPI’s are met-weekly/monthly/annually.

**EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE**
- College degree in business management or a related field would be considered an asset.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience; preferably in a warehouse/distribution centre would be considered an asset.
- Communication - Ability to communicate effectively interdepartmentally, and externally with customers, etc.
- Customer Service - Ability to respond effectively and in a timely manner to departmental needs, focusing on customer service.
- Previous Experience - Strong working knowledge of warehousing, retail distribution, and quality control.
- Leadership - Job requires a willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and take direction.
- Cooperation - Job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
- Analytical Thinking - Job requires analyzing information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems, and strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Organized - Job requires the ability to multi-task and handle conflicting priorities.
