**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role as a Warehouse Operator at our location in

Mississauga, ON. The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for day-to-day

tasks including unloading, packing, material handling, forklift operation,

performing mechanical assembly tasks, verifying correct quantities of parts and

checking completed items for quality, and also be responsible for managing parts

inventory, and ensuring health and safety practices are followed. They will also

perform quality control checks to ensure the products meet our rigorous standards.

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in a warehouse setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in unloading, packing, and material handling, proficiency in forklift

operation, forklift License (required)
- Mechanical Assembly and Quality Control skills
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to follow work instructions and training effectively
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and

organizational skills, problem-solving skills, positive attitude and customer service

oriented
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of pump build procedures and part production is an asset
- Computer Skills, Microsoft Office, Gmail, Communication and collaboration tools
- High School Diploma or relevant experience

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Shipping/Receiving**_
- Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move

shipments, may operate a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load,

unload, transport, and store goods
- Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading and shipping orders

to route materials
- Pack, seal and label materials to prepare for shipping and prepare identifying

information and shipping instructions
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slip or other documents,

record shortages and reject damaged goods
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-up and delivery of shipments
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading,

shipping labels, and customs declarations
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortage
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents,

record shortages, and reject damaged goods, prepare QC report
- Communicate with internal departments regarding shipping and receiving

issues
- Adhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures, and regulatory

compliance procedures
- Maintain shipping and receiving area by ensuring a safe and clean work

environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- **Pump Assembly**_
- Read blueprints and verify the parts required before assembly, discuss the

scope of the pump assembly work with the sales team, communicate with

team on the assembly line to ensure speed and accuracy
- Stage the parts required for the pump assembly using a pump bill of

materials provided
- Advise if any parts are missing and are required to be ordered for the

assembly, immediately inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects
- Conducts quality control checks, verify specifications by measuring

completed component, record results of the quality inspection prior to

shipment upon completion of any pump assembly orders.
- Maintain and service all equipment as necessary
