Associate Lawyer

We are located in the heart of Chesley, Ontario - a rural agricultural area complimented by its scenery and welcoming sense of community. Our office building (former Bank of Hamilton building) has recently undergone renovations to double in size.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various legal matters
- Manage all client matters on a daily basis
- Conduct legal research to support legal proceedings and provide accurate interpretations of laws, regulations, and precedents
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts and agreements
- Assist and collaborate with colleagues and other professionals
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

**Key Requirements**
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- 1 to 3 years experience considered an asset but recent graduates will be considered
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while paying attention to detail
