Clearview School Division is a public education system offering a comprehensive range of programs to serve the

learning needs of approximately 2,400 pre
- Kindergarten to grade 12 students in and around the communities of Big Valley, Botha, Brownfield, Byemoor, Castor, Coronation, Donalda, Erskine, and Stettler. Clearview supports student learning at 22 school sites, including ten schools on Hutterite colonies.

Clearview Technology Services supports the technology-related infrastructure to assist our schools in fostering student-centered learning experiences that nurture a love of learning. Reporting to the Deputy Superintendent, the Director of Technology Services directly leads a team of technicians and is responsible for the coordination of technology services throughout the school division.

**Key responsibilities include**:
**Collaboration with School and Division Leaders**:
Work closely with school and division leaders to understand their technological needs and objectives and ensure that technology integration aligns with educational goals and enhances the learning experience for students.

Create evergreening and long-term strategic plans in technology infrastructure that enhance educational outcomes and support the mission of Clearview Public Schools.

**Supernet and ISP Network Management**:
Take ownership of maintaining and improving the Division’s Supernet and ISP network infrastructure and conduct regular assessments to identify areas for enhancement and implement necessary changes.

Research, design, and oversee the ordering process for network upgrades and expansions to meet evolving demands.

**WAN and LAN Maintenance**:
Manage and optimize the Division's WAN (Wide Area Network) and School LAN (Local Area Network) infrastructure, including all servers, services, switches, routers, devices, and wireless radios essential for network operations.

**Security and Threat Management**:
Keep abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies to proactively address evolving threats and vulnerabilities.

Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to mitigate security threats and safeguard network integrity.

**Technical Support and Troubleshooting**:
Effectively manage a team to provide technical support and assistance to end-users, including troubleshooting network issues and resolving connectivity problems.

Develop and maintain documentation related to network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices to support efficient problem resolution.
