**About the position**:
The role of a Family Support Worker, assists clients with special needs, ensures clients attend appointments and special outings, and gives people the opportunity to have a companion or be socialized where they otherwise may not. Other times, they are role models for troubled youth or relief to a parent with a disabled child. This particular position is for our Child Protection Department; providing transportation and supervised visitations. Travel time and mileage will be paid.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Hold a diploma/certificate in at least one of the following: Human Services, Child Youth Courses, Teaching/ECE, Criminology/Corrections, Sociology
- First aid/ CPR
- Must pass: Social Development check, criminal record check and drivers abstract
- Must have: Valid drivers license/ own vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage
- Experience is an asset

Compensation: $18.35/hour and $0.57 per km vehicle reimbursement

- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
