**ROLE**

To support our future growth in the North American market, we are seeking to fill a full-time permanent position for a Drafting Specialist. This position will focus primarily on the drafting and design for CDM Stravitec North American projects.

As Drafting Specialist, you will be part of our North American team consisting of 12 people and led by the Vice President North America. This position will report to the Engineering and Project Delivery Lead for North America.

**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reviewing design construction documents, specifications, and technical drawings

Creating detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD (required), Revit and BIM experience is preferred

Collaborate with Project Delivery Managers to establish a design brief

Maintain schedule and meet deadlines

Document and track any changes or revisions, ensuring that all versions are accurately recorded

Implement problem-solving techniques to ensure the feasibility and functionality of the proposed designs

Develop production drawings that can be effectively translated into physical products

**PROFILE**

2+ years of drafting experience

Proven ability to solve problems creatively

Detail oriented and motivated

Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness

Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
