Psychotherapist (Msw)

Position: Psychotherapist with a Masters in Social Work

Body Science Therapy is a truly multidisciplinary clinic engrained with the values of continually striving to be the best for our patients, and caring for one another and our community. We are located in Mississauga near the 401, and have a position open for a part-time Psychotherapist to join our team.

Currently our team is composed of physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, psychotherapists, and a functional medicine practitioner who LOVE what we do, are always interested in being better than they were yesterday, and are in continuous pursuit of learning about the seemingly infinite possibilities of the human body.

When Body Science was created, it was with the goal in mind of putting together a space that strays from the ominous, impersonal medical environment, and instead creating a fun and focused atmosphere for our patients and staff.

Our therapists focus on assessment and treatment techniques that aim to truly discover and resolve the root issues of each individual's body and mind, while being engaging and having fun throughout the process.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Use evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address a range of mental health challenges (e.g. anxiety, depression, stress, chronic pain, grief, trauma etc.)
- Use sound clinical judgment and empathic ability to establish therapeutic relationships.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for clients.
- Provide client-centred therapy in a supportive, non-judgemental and safe environment.
- Maintain a high standard of practice with required documentation.
- Open to continuous learning and development.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Master's Degree (required)
- Membership with OCSWSSW (required)
