**Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This role provides an excellent opportunity for skill development and career advancement in the electrical trade.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist licensed electricians in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Help troubleshoot electrical issues and perform basic repairs under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to local electrical codes during all tasks.
**Requirements**:
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and terminology.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians.
- Previous experience as an industrial electrician or in a related field is advantageous but not required.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods as needed.
