Thermal Simulator

We are currently looking to fill the position of Thermal Simulator with the possibility of teleworking.
As a Thermal Simulator, you'll be responsible for conducting thermal simulation projects that assess the performance of building envelope components (assemblies and/or specific products). The different types of simulation projects you will be involved in includes thermal assessments, product certifications, and R&D initiatives. In collaboration with the Chief Engineer and Simulation Lab Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Perform thermal simulations according to applicable standards (NFRC, CSA) using computer software (LBNL THERM, WINDOW and OPTICS)
- Prepare technical reports according to applicable standards
- Provide technical support to customers
- Perform other duties to support the Simulation Lab's operations.
- College Diploma (Architectural, Mechanical or Civil Engineering Technician/Technologist)
- Basic knowledge of CAD software
- Interest in energy efficiency and heat transfer
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written/verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Capacity to manage multiple projects in parallel
- Autonomous, organized, and resourceful
**Assets**:
- Knowledge of LBNL THERM, WINDOW and OPTICS
- Experience and/or interest in programming (Visual Basic, JSON, Python)
- Knowledge of building envelope and/or fenestration products
- Billingual (English/French)
