At Connon Nurseries we are Growers, wholesalers and retailers of plants and garden products in Ontario for over 100 years. We are growers of over 250 acres of nursery stock, employing the latest technologies of Container, Pot-in-Pot Shade Tree production, Greenhouse, & Field growing. Supplying landscape contractors across Ontario, we are also open to the public at our convenient sales yard locations. Our fleet of dedicated and talented drivers is expanding, and we are looking for self-sufficient team players to join our team.

Under the direction of the Shipping Manager, the delivery driver is responsible for daily deliveries in and around the GTA beginning and ending their day at our Waterdown location. They will be driving company vehicles.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safe operation of delivery truck
- Load and unload products for daily route deliveries includes dock pallet deliveries where required using electric tailgate.
- Interact with our customers to support a smooth delivery and receive signed paperwork.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related Geo Tab requirements.
- Previous crane operation experience is an asset.
- Nursery Products either plant material or bulk soils/mulch using crane or electric tailgate, or the dump box.
- Labour intensive.
- Heavy lifting is required.
- Perform other duties as required.

**Delivery Driver Qualifications**:

- Valid driver’s license (G)
- Clean criminal record
- Demonstrates good planning and organizational skills
- Well-spoken good communicator
- Minimum 3 years driving experience with straight trucks
