Must enjoy instructing all levels of riders, beginners to advanced. Children and adults.A seasoned riding instructor that is capable of meeting the needs of students with a wide variety of riding and instructing experience, from lead-line lessons, to first-time youth riders from beginner through advanced jumping lessons (up to 2'6).

We have a large clientele of youth / beginner riders, so instructors with limited jumping experience are also encouraged to apply.

Chava Farms is a safe and welcoming family friendly equestrian facility.We provide a range of services to horse lovers of all ages and abilities.Located in a beautiful and tranquil setting, our facility offers a variety of safe and engaging horsemanship and horseback riding programs.

Our lesson program is designed to be family-friendly with experienced instructors who emphasize safety, proper technique, and communication with horses. We offer group, semi-private and private lessons, as well as trail rides (for lesson students only), jumping and dressage for those interested in a more specialized experience.

Our instructors work with both children and adults from beginners to advanced riders.Our facility is well-maintained, includes an indoor and outdoor riding arena and the proper safety equipment, clear rules and policies to ensure the safety and well-being of all riders.

We strive to create a welcoming and supportive community for riders and horse enthusiasts. We also offer a variety of events and programs throughout the year, including camps, clinics, and birthday parties. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, our goal is to help you develop your skills and passion for equestrian sports in a safe and supportive environment.

Applicants must have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of instructing experience and a minimum of 4 to 5 years of riding and horsemanship skills.

We insist upon professionalism, punctuality, personal dedication to educating riders at all levels, and commitment to self-improvement. Applicants must be willing to work in a team environment and always maintain a friendly, patient, and professional attitude at all times.

We are looking for an individual with the following qualities:
Friendly, good communication skills, upbeat, organized, responsible, reliable, accountable, kind, trainable, coachable, open minded, and customer service oriented. Must be able to work as part of a team.

Career advancement opportunities available beyond the summer season.Experience teaching hunters, jumpers and dressage is preferred but not required.

**Responsibilities**:
Instructing horseback riding lessons both in and out of the saddle.

Help with basic barn chores and horse care duties.

Tack and untack horses.

Turn out and bring in horses.

School/exercise lesson horses.

Organize in-house schooling shows.

**Job Type**:
Part-time hours: 10 - 20 hrs/week

or

Full-time hours: 25 - 40 hrs/week

Flexible schedule

2 hr shifts available

4 hr shifts available

6 hr shifts available

8 hr shifts available

**Education**:
High school or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:
Riding and working around Horses: 4 years (required)

Instructing Riding Lessons: 1 - 2 years (required)

**License/Certification**:
EC - (preferred)

First Aid Certification (preferred)

CPR Certification C (required)

Must have proof of Insurance

**Compensation**:
Based on experience and hours. Competitive wages. Open to negotiate.
