**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Construct and install structures, frameworks, fixtures, and finishes according to blueprints and project specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials, ensuring precision and quality.
- Interpret blueprints, technical documents, and instructions to plan carpentry tasks.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members on-site to complete projects.
- Conduct routine inspections and repairs as needed.
- Prepare job sites, organize materials, and ensure that all work areas are clean and safe.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship or vocational training in carpentry is preferred.
- **Experience**: At least 3-5 years of experience as a Carpenter in construction or a related field.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for carpentry. o Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. o Strong math and measurement skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
- **Licenses/Certifications**: Carpentry license is an asset, but not required.
- **Driver’s License**: Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
