In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
SAP Functional Consultant (Material Management / Inventory Management) consultant role typically this area is used for managing inventory levels, tracking goods movements, and performing various inventory-related transactions within Material Management

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and configure the SAP Inventory Management components within Material Management according to client requirements
- Analyze business processes and recommend solutions that align with SAP best practices
- Conduct end-user training and support during the implementation phase
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful integration of the SAP Inventory Management module with other systems
- Provide post-implementation support and maintenance of the SAP system
- Document business requirements, functional specifications, and test plans

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP Material Management module configuration and implementation
- Strong knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management) and EWM (Extended Warehouse management) modules
- Experience in conducting business process analysis and recommending solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and project managers
- SAP certification in Material Management is a plus.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP Material Management module configuration and implementation
- Strong knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management) and EWM (Extended Warehouse management) modules
- Experience in conducting business process analysis and recommending solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and project managers
