Our team is comprised of heavy haul / project cargo experts from various industries such as project forwarding, rigging and specifically over the road transportation.
- Outcome: _
- All packaging meet technical specification and visual requirement
- Be the gatekeeper to ensure bad (i.e. non-conforming) parts do not escape the area
- Facilitate non-conforming parts flow in and out of the hold/unhold status
- Provide leaders with access to quality data and expertise to support their initiatives
- Mission_:

- Perform Outbound in a safe and effector manner
- Ensure goods leaving warehouse is in good condition, is of correct part numbers and quantity.
- Main Responsibilities: _
- Determine day to day priority of projects based on operations’ priority
- Perform part, packing list inspection on normal, rush and special orders
- Label part and complete proper documentation
- Document issue (e.g. via NC or Dev Ops) or communicate to QC Technician to document
- Answer questions from Operations Team Members on suspect defects
- Update communications board based on required criteria and frequency

Secondary Responsibilities:

- Support process improvement activities such as quality awareness, root cause or improvement activities
- Trains manufacturing team members in quality requirements, inspection and test practices

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- Hands on and assertive
- Strong ability to operate effectively in high pace and stressful situations (i.e. hold your ground when truck is waiting)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to focus in loud environment
- Communicate tactfully and effectively, especially about why a decision is made
- Have an open mind and willingness to learn and try new things

QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school and/or post-secondary education in mechanics, hydraulics and/or electrical studies
- 2-3 years relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proven knowledge in inspection standards and skills
- Basic ability to read and interpret packing list, bill of lating, etc.
- Working knowledge of gauges (mechanical, electrical, etc.) used in the quality process and calibration procedures
- Available to work a variety of shifts to support business

**Experience**:

- 3PL transportation industry: 2 years (preferred)
