**FULL- TIME Jr. IT TECHNICAN POSITION - METRO TRUCK GROUP, STONEY CREEK, ON.**

The Metro Truck Group is a full-service centre for all heavy truck & trailer needs, providing a large base of services across seven convenient locations. We are rapidly growing and, in our expansion, we are looking to add to our IT team at our Head Office & Elite Dealership residing in Stoney Creek.

**Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Provide excellent customer service to ensure success acting as one of the primary support/help persons for internal employees throughout the Metro Truck Group
- Escalates issues internally and/or with external vendors when required to ensure timely resolution
- Complete cable installations and cable termination
- As the desktop/mobility user experience expert take responsibility, at the leader’s discretion, for the maintenance/troubleshooting and configuration, as well as repairs/upgrades, of: Computerized office systems (including phones, copiers, PCs); Mobile device management
- Performs other related duties and/or special projects as required in the department
- Independently prioritizes and executes work and proactively track and report on activities and projects.
- Assists with management of on-premise servers and systems (at the manager’s discretion), follows all regulatory requirements, and ensures quality and data integrity standards are met
- Perform all duties related to communications installations including: company cell phones, landlines, cell phone repairs, tv installs etc.
- Follows information privacy and security guidelines
- Observes and supports all safety guidelines and regulations
- Monitors systems and advise IT management in a timely manner of incidents (including breaches) or significant warnings
- Jr. IT Technician is required to travel between all Metro Truck Group locations
- Commitment to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment to ensure customer satisfaction
- Work alongside co-workers, and management in a cooperative manner
- General housekeeping duties
- _All other duties as assigned_

**Qualifications**:

- Must have _a valid drivers license with your own vehicle_
- 2 years of IT technician experience
- **While performing the duties of this Job, IT team members are regularly required to stand; walk; bend; lift; and occasional ladder/scissor lift use**:

- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Degree or diploma in related field considered a strong asset
- Manufacturing or Automotive Dealership experience considered an asset
