**About the Role**

As a Full Stack Data Scientist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end data science process, from data collection and preprocessing to model development and deployment. You will play a pivotal role in understanding the context of the business, developing models to analyze relevant data and deploying these models to production.

Your goal is to help develop the best algorithm to match university researchers and companies for collaboration on innovative projects.

**What You'll Do**
- Clean, transform, and organize raw data for analysis and modeling purposes.
- Manage the pipeline of data and analytics requests
- Document, maintain, and continuously improve the data quality.
- Design, test, deploy, and improve models to enhance user experience and product performance.
- Regularly review and analyze model performance to identify areas for enhancements and optimization.
- Collaborate with the development team to deploy models to production
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and assist in making data-driven decisions.

**What You'll Bring**
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of work experience working with machine learning models
- Proven experience in recommendation and prediction systems, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques
- Proven experience in implementing deep learning models (using libraries like PyTorch, Transformers)
- Proven experience in data collection, cleaning, and feature engineering (like Airflow, DBT, etc.)
- Ability to explore new data and communicate statistical insights in the form of graphs or tables (using libraries like plotly, seaborn, matplotlib)
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Data Scientist with a track record of successfully bringing machine learning models into production environments.
- Proficiency in Python and data manipulation tools (like SQL, Pandas, etc.)
- Experience with data governance, documentation, and process improvement is an asset.
- Experience in NLP is an asset
- Experience with PostgresML is an asset
- Ability to work in French and in English
