The work location is in
- **Nunavik** and the normal work schedule is
- **11 hours** per day on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

**Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Drilling and Blasting Supervisor, the driller will be required to primarily operate a down-the-hole hammer drill and will also be called upon to assist with blasting loading operations, as well as operate various machinery such as a Bobcat and/or small loader and dump trucks (CAT 775 - 60t).
- He will carry out his tasks in accordance with current safety standards (work methods, existing work instructions, road safety, and health and safety).
- He will perform the inspection of the equipment before and after his shift;
- As required, he will perform all other tasks requested by the supervisor.

**Qualifications**
- Must have a diploma of professional studies in drilling and blasting;
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a driller;
- Experience operating down the hole (DTH) drills;
- Hold an explosive permit;
- Know the safe operation of drills;
- Have an acceptable level of experience on the operation of heavy equipment.

**Assets**
- Certification cards;
- Experience as a blaster helper;
- Hold a valid driving license, class 1 an asset.
- Due to frequent interactions with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is an asset that facilitates and enhances our internal communications.
