**Description**

Applications are invited for a **one-year, limited-term position** in Strategy and Global Management (SGMA) in the **Haskayne School of Business (School)** at the University of Calgary. The appointment will be at the rank of **Assistant Professor**. The appointment start date is **July 1st, 2025**. Contingent on budget and area need, this appointment may be renewable for one year.

**Qualifications**
- Formal business education (an MBA or equivalent degree and a B.Comm. degree);
- A PhD or DBA degree in management or a related field is preferred;
- Expertise in strategic management and/or international business, with industry experience being an asset;
- Evidence of effective teaching in the area of strategic management and/or international business at the post-secondary level, as demonstrated by excellent student evaluations;
- Evidence of successful course development;
- Proficiency with online instruction and expertise in the use of virtual learning resources and practices is an asset;
- Administrative skills required to coordinate multi-section courses;
- Evidence of successful teamwork and a collegial approach to interacting with colleagues, students, and other stakeholders;
- Willingness to engage in service to the school, university, and profession.
- Cover letter and curriculum vitae, including the names and contact information of three referees;
- Statement of teaching philosophy and teaching dossier as evidence of teaching experience and effectiveness;
- Statement on equity, diversity and inclusion identifying the applicant's contributions or potential contributions to advancing a culture of equity and inclusion;
- Other evidence to demonstrate the requirements for the position.
