Routine Disclosure Analyst
The Opportunity
The DIS team is recruiting a Routine Disclosure Analyst to join our team in Edmonton or Calgary. The position is a limited term with an anticipated end date of March 31, 2024. The role delivers quality support through investigating, acquiring, redacting and disseminating non-confidential regulatory information to internal and external stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize, manage and communicate multiple stakeholder requests and conduct thorough investigation of AER and Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP) systems.- Effectively communicate with various AER businesses to locate regulatory submitted information.- Review and redact dispositions in alignment to energy regulations, Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and Information Governance Sharing Policy.- Manage customer relationships by responding to inquiries, answering questions and providing information support. Our customers include, but are not limited to, AER business, oil & gas Industry, landowners, government agencies, consultants, and the public.- Manage financial transaction for the purchase of regulatory information.
Qualifications:
- General Administration diploma.- 3 years of energy industry related experience, and knowledge of the regulatory lifecycle and the AER’s regulatory system.- Collaborative approach to troubleshooting and searching for records.- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.- Ability to easily establish and maintain credibility across AER businesses and external stakeholders.- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently and respond to changing priorities.- Demonstrate continuous improvement mindset.- Experience with Adobe, Office 365 and SAP an asset.
Additional Requirements and Information:- Required physical demands: ex) must be able to lift over 30 lbs.

- Please note: Should an individual with the required qualifications not be available, applicants with closely related qualifications may be considered. As a result, the position may be redesigned and/or reclassified.- This position is eligible as a Temporary Assignment. Should the successful employee be a permanent employee, they would retain their permanent status for the term of the contract and potentially be eligible for Acting Pay as per the AER’s Compensation Policy. At the end of the assignment, the employee would either return to their current role or be reassigned to an equivalent role within the organization.
