**Overview**: As a Furnace Installer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort and safety of residential and commercial spaces by installing and replacing furnaces. You will be responsible for meticulously following installation procedures, adhering to safety protocols, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Installation and Replacement**:

- Install new furnaces in residential and commercial properties, ensuring proper sizing, placement, and alignment according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Replace existing furnaces with new units, carefully disconnecting and removing old equipment while minimizing disruption to the property.

**Pre-Installation Preparation**:

- Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing HVAC systems, ductwork, and infrastructure, determining compatibility and necessary modifications for new furnace installations.

**System Integration**:

- Connect furnaces to ductwork, electrical systems, gas lines, and other components, ensuring secure and proper fitment to facilitate efficient operation.
- Test system functionality and performance, verifying proper airflow, temperature regulation, and combustion levels.

**Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines throughout the installation process, including proper handling of equipment, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed installations to identify and address any safety hazards or code violations.

**Customer Service**:

- Communicate effectively with customers to explain installation procedures, address questions or concerns, and ensure satisfaction with the completed work.
- Provide guidance on furnace operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to help customers maximize system performance and longevity.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of installations, including equipment specifications, work performed, and any relevant notes or observations.
- Complete installation paperwork, including warranties, permits, and inspection reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational training program or apprenticeship in HVAC installation preferred.
- Proven experience as a furnace installer or HVAC technician, with a strong understanding of heating systems and components.
- Familiarity with HVAC installation techniques, tools, and equipment, including brazing, soldering, and electrical wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various environments and conditions.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work is primarily performed indoors, often in residential or commercial properties undergoing construction or renovation.
- May be exposed to environmental factors such as temperature extremes, dust, and noise.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying of equipment and materials may be required.
- Flexible scheduling may be necessary to accommodate project deadlines and customer availability.
