IT Technician

We are currently seeking an IT Technician to join our dedicated IT team. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our IT systems run smoothly and securely.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
**Responsibilities**:

- Provide customer-focused support with security as a primary concern at all times
- Serve as the first line of contact with the user base
- Provide support in-person, over the phone, or using remote tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and licensing issues for clients
- Work seamlessly with suppliers and outside technicians
- Assist with projects as directed, including:

- Helpdesk implementation
- RMM Tools implementation
- PC Imaging software
- Assist with implementing and enforcing IT Policy
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a customer IT support function
- Understanding of how software and operating systems work
- Ability to listen before acting
- Ability to triage and manage multiple support issues at once
- Ability to take direction but also to work independently as required
- Ability to be creative when required
- Ability to work safely in a production environment

**Technical Skills**:
Must have experience with:

- Windows 10/11
- Office 365, incl. Project, Sharepoint, OneDrive, Teams
- iOS, iPhone/iPad
- Adobe Acrobat
- Zoom

Additional experience would be an asset:

- Knowledge of Explorer Construction Software
- Knowledge of Mac OS

**Educational Requirements**:

- Computer-related education is required
- Degree, Diploma or Certification in Computer Information Technology related program is an asset

**Salary Range**: $60,000-$70,000/ year

**Location**: Abbotsford, BC - in Office

**Schedule**: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
