- The primary function of the SCADA specialist will be to design, monitor, test, troubleshoot, and maintain _

**Job Requirements**
- _
At least _1-2 years experience in the renewables market_
- _ 3 years of Engineering, Operations, _IT,_ or other utility experience _
- _BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline or equivalent experience or technical training._
- _ Tertiary education in a relevant field, or equivalent demonstrated experience_
- _ Knowledge of operating systems and network topology._
- _ Knowledge of SCADA-related NERC CIP requirements_._
- _ The ability to use MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access is required._
- _ Experience working with SCADA or Automation systems preferred._
- _ Intermediate to moderate knowledge of one or more of the following: Electric Distribution Operations; Distribution Automation; Distribution Engineering._
- _ Graphical user interface (GUI) and design skills desired_
- _ Knowledge of telecommunications systems desired_
- _ Ability to be self-managing and to relish the challenges of problem-solving._
- _ Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop positive relationships with vendors and clients. Document work practices appropriately. _
- _Knowledge of SQL database systems, Computer programming languages in Python and JSON._
- _ Fluent English speaker_
- _ Strong analytical skills_ and confidence _in _Microsoft _Suite_
