**Specific Accountabilities**:
Prospective Student Engagement, Advising & Support:

- Engage with prospective students to provide advising and support in their academic decision-making process.
- Offer program advising sessions to help students select suitable programs based on their interests and objectives.
- Conduct campus tours to provide firsthand experiences and foster a sense of belonging within the college community.
- Promote the college to high school students through extensive travel, visiting various institutions and sharing information about programs and career paths.
- Organize events such as SHSM Days and College Information Sessions to engage with potential students and introduce them to the college.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Identify and develop relationships with prospective institutions, including secondary and post-secondary schools, community organizations, and businesses.
- Maintain connections with key partners and influencers to stay informed about trends and issues relevant to enrollment.
- Provide information about Lambton College programs, services, and opportunities to prospective institutions on an ongoing basis.
- Participate in joint initiatives with prospective institutions and serve on recruitment committees.
- Represent the college at events such as the Ontario College Dialogues to provide comprehensive information to guidance counselors and stakeholders.

Admin & Event Coordination:

- Support the coordination and development of the team's Fall Outreach Schedule to maximize recruitment efforts.
- Support & contribute to training for team members, including student ambassadors, on college programs and services.
- Support to plan and execute events such as Application Sessions, and Tour Days to attract prospective students.
- Support the planning and execution of Open House and College Information Session events.
- Utilize Salesforce software to efficiently manage potential leads through the enrollment funnel.

**About the Position**:
This is a temporary, full time support staff position replacing a bargaining unit employee. This position will start as soon as possible and end August 31, 2025. Working 35 hours per week at an hourly rate of $35.06, reporting to the Associate Director, Marketing & Recruitment.

This position helps to achieve enrolment by promoting Lambton College as the higher learning institution of choice for prospective students. The incumbent is responsible for being knowledgeable in all programs and services to inform, recruit, market and advise prospective students and target audiences on programs to market all that Lambton College has to offer. This position helps to support enrolment targets by securing the best possible applicant pool for selection into all programs through the implementation of tactics in the Annual Recruitment Plan.

This role will require the flexibility to travel extensively during peak recruitment seasons, typically September through December and March through May each year to fulfill these responsibilities effectively.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 year post secondary diploma in Marketing, Business, Recruitment, Public Relations or Communications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of recent related work experience in recruitment, marketing/public relations/sales environment with a focus on deadline oriented multi-tasking experience and event management.
- Valid Ontario Drivers License
- Ability to secure a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Demonstrates persuasive public speaking experience, with attention to diction.
- Demonstrates experience in strategizing, coordinating and evaluating a successful marketing campaign.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Experience in working with youth (16-25 years of age).
