**Job Description**:
**Please note that this position will be working on-site at Algonquin College's Pembroke Campus**

Reporting to the Manager of Community and Student Affairs, the position supports the overall strategic enrolment management efforts of the Pembroke Campus and also assists with the planning and execution of events and activities that contribute to the overall campus SEM goals. The incumbent is responsible for the preparation, analysis, interpretation and distribution of institutional information such as student and applicant data and current enrolment trends and opportunities. The incumbent also captures and analyses data and writes reports that can be used to inform decision-making by management/and or faculty of the College. The incumbent also leads and collaborates with colleagues to organize student recruitment and retention events and initiatives that contribute to the Strategic Enrolment Management Processes on campus.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Capturing and analyzing confidential applicant admissions information and personal data and compiling with retention data to build campus and program profiles. Preparing summaries and reports to disseminate data analysis, findings and recommendations. Ensuring data integrity and protection of personal information.- Defining, designing and reporting ongoing research to academic and institutional research needs of the college annually and reporting on these as required, including:
- College Competitors’ information;-
- Enrollment trends;-
- SEM trends; and-
- Demographic information-
- Leading event planning for SEM initiatives related to student recruitment and retention, orientation, & graduation.- Providing back up reception support to assist students with triaging to various areas of student services.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) year Business Administration Diploma;- Minimum three (3) years of experience analyzing statistics and extracting data from various sources;- Working-knowledge of computer software i.e. Excel and Word & familiarity with databases;- Previous experience working in strategic enrolment management within a post-secondary institution would be an asset and is preferred;- Previous experience in Event-Planning or Marketing is helpful;- Ability to work independently and within a team;- Attention to detail and highly organized;- Strong presentation skills;- Primarily remote work but occasional work on campus to support events.

Anticipated Weekly Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday, 5 hours per day
- This position is paid at Payband 8
