Business Intelligence Intern

Connect&GO is offering a four-month summer internship for aspiring Business Intelligence Analysts, designed to provide hands-on experience and essential skills in the field. We're seeking motivated people who combine technical expertise in business intelligence with exceptional business acumen to join our team.
The objective of this internship is to develop metrics for client satisfaction/performance relative to the attraction industry, utilizing data from internal software usage and sales performance metrics. You will be encouraged to leverage machine learning algorithms and AI techniques to create these metrics. Additionally, you will establish benchmarks using robust statistical methods to compare various approaches. This initiative seeks to deepen our comprehension of client retention and mitigate customer churn within our industry by pinpointing the pivotal factors that lead to client attrition.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain SQL databases and SQL/Python scripts for data analysis.
- Design and implement insightful dashboards for business performance monitoring.
- Analyze complex data sets to extract actionable business insights with the help of data analysis and machine learning.
- Build metrics that help us understand our client's usage of internal tools and overall satisfaction
- Collaborate with various departments to understand and address their data needs.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
**Internship Eligibility Criteria**:
- Be in the final year of a Master's degree in Data Science or Business Intelligence from one of the specified universities: UQAM, HEC, Concordia, McGill, or the University of Sherbrooke.
- Have a solid understanding of SQL and Python and possess experience with machine learning algorithms.
- Demonstrated ability in dashboard creation and data visualization.
- Capable of analyzing complex business challenges and formulating data-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, adept in both written and verbal presentations.
- Fluent in both French and English.
- Able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
