Starting Wage: $18.00-$21.00

- Quality Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform regular process and product audits
- Prepare and control QMS documentation (instructions, alerts, procedures, etc.)
- Analyze and report data
- Maintain communication boards/tools
- Assist in the training and educating of team members Document and communicate all quality related issues
- Attend production meetings
- Any other duties assigned by management
- Ability to interpret control plans and PFMEA for new and current programs
- Detect and report, for further action, production and/or component issues pertinent to production safety, performance, craftsmanship, and dependability.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to investigate quality issues and recommend solutions Help ensure new and modified products are successfully introduced into production
- Track and resolve open issues pertaining to new product launches.
- Perform Quality-Engineering activities for internal issues. (e.g., problem solving, process audits, internal auditing, etc.).
- Requirements
- 2-3 years Quality experience, preferably in a automotive manufacturing environment
- Experience with common manufacturing philosophies/tools (Lean, 5S, 8D, SPC, PPAP, PFMEA)
- IATF 16949 Internal auditor certification preferred
- Experience with inspection equipment and tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written/verbal communication and Microsoft Office skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques
- Interest in developing skills through both internal and external training
- Leadership capability, Strong work ethic, professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations
- Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed
