**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate a wheelchair accessible, lift equipped bus while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure safe and proper loading and unloading of passengers as well as passenger safety and well-being during transit.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Address any passenger concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Provide excellent customer service by being kind, patient and empathetic.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good mechanical condition and record issues.
- Report mechanical problems and safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior as well as refuel as required.
- Follow predetermined schedule.
- Communicate with dispatch any issues or delays.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including trip logs and report client and/or road incidents to dispatch.
- Other duties as required.

**Experience**
- Valid class 4 driver's license.
- Clear criminal record.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or seniors.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks is beneficial.
- Ability to write clear reports and document incidents as required.

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 44 per week
