Arctic Canadian is a Canadian mining company and a significant producer and supplier of premium rough diamond assortments to the global market. The company owns and operates the Ekati Diamond Mine, located in Canada’s Northwest Territories. In addition to its mining and exploration operations, Arctic Canadian has offices in Canada and Belgium.

**Position Overview**

**Job Duties/Responsibilities**
- Safe practices on lifting operations with our mobile cranes, including rigging, lift procedures, hazards identified.
- Work closely with the crane operators on policies, procedures, crane operations onsite and gaining knowledge within the mobile crane operations including safe rigging practices.
- Participate and advocate in a zero harm safety culture and all Health, Safety, Environment and Security programs within the Arctic Canadian Diamond Company;
- Gain experience both on the job and complete technical training school sessions;
- Work within a team setting and receive instruction on Crane operations tasks and safe work procedures;
- Always protect the safety and well-being of yourself and your co-workers. Follow all Company specific safety protocols and Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures;
- Work with other trades in a flexible team environment to achieve best-in-class efficiency and productivity

**Additional Information**

Arctic provides travel to and from the Ekati mine site out of Calgary, Yellowknife, and other northern fly points.
