**WAREHOUSE MANAGER**
ContainerWorld located in Richmond, British Columbia is a premier logistics provider for the beverage industry; privately owned company with approximately 430 employees throughout its three BC facilities. ContainerWorld also operates in Ontario and Nova Scotia.

We are presently recruiting for a permanent full-time Warehouse Operations Manager. Generally, it is a Mon-Fri day shift position but may include other hours if operationally required.

**Position Overview**:
Working independently with guidance as required, responsibilities are to supervise, delegate and assign all warehouse related activities in all departments. This position is responsible for the short-term efficiency and effectiveness of their work and of others in their area/department; with budgetary responsibility.

**Main Responsibilities**:
Supervise staff in accordance with Company policies and procedures
- Set priorities and assign tasks utilizing resources and the abilities of the work force to maintain a continual workflow, providing instructions, training, and guidance as required;
- Ensure policies (including the Collective Agreement) and procedures are followed;
- Assist in performance review programs for departmental employees.

Daily Manpower and Resource Management

Occupational Health & Safety
- Appraise, recommend and maintain adherence of all safety, security and sanitation policies.

Management Reports
- Produce, analyze productivity reports and recommend actions to the Managers;
- Assist in developing, analyzing and reporting KPI and dashboards.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Some post-secondary courses or specialist certificate/diploma in Operations Management;
- 5+ years supervisory experience preferable in a unionized environment;
**Required Skills, Knowledge and Competencies**:

- 3-5 years working with a Warehouse Management System, preferable Accellos or compatible leading edge warehousing system;
- Strong computer skills such as Excel, Time & Attendance system (preferable Kronos), Word, and related software;
- Strong analytical abilities to assist in the day-to-day efficiencies of the department;
