**Instrumentation Technician**:
**Your Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor, your role will encompass both field and workshop maintenance tasks for instrumentation devices, alongside aiding in the deployment and operational support of industrial automation and control systems across the Bethune mine. Your duties will extend to, but are not limited to:

- Executing maintenance and service tasks for instrumentation as assigned.
- Upholding and actively contributing to the enhancement of KSPC Electrical Safe Work Practices and Procedures.
- Collaborating with the Reliability team to establish specifications, standards for control systems and instrumentation, and maintenance best practices.
- Participating in the planning, testing, quality control, commissioning, and initiation of instrumentation and control systems.
- Implementing safety protocols to significantly reduce risks to team members within your work domain.
- Offering technical advice and support on instrumentation issues.
- Delivering comprehensive reports on preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Mentoring on the creation and refinement of work instructions (WIs) to ensure they are precise and current.

**You**:

- Certification as a Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician.
- 3+ years of experience performing maintenance in an industrial facility.
- Instrumentation Technologist Diploma would be considered an asset.
- Familiarity with ABB 800xa Control System & Profibus communication protocol would be considered an asset.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and generate detailed technical documentation, reports, and methodologies.
- Employs judgment in managing, organizing, and fulfilling tasks within established boundaries, with a focus on adaptability and resilience in changing circumstances.
- Proactively identifies and mitigates potential risks, is proficient in diagnosing and resolving issues as they occur, and demonstrates the ability to interpret data to derive meaningful conclusions.
- Applies logical and reasoned thinking to everyday problems, influences team members to meet quality control and safety standards, and works with a strong safety orientation.
- Provides training and support to less experienced colleagues, ensuring that procedures are both current and accurate, and overseeing the quality of team members' work to maintain high standards.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
