**Brief Overview**:
Métis Nation-Saskatchewan (MN-S) is a diverse, growing organization that is transitioning to its own government. As this transition happens, we are developing our teams to maximize our visibility and meaningfully share our ways of living.

Métis Nation-Saskatchewan is hiring for a Storytelling Producer. Our team is a diverse, well-organized group and we are looking to hire someone who balances and brings in an energy that complements our group. This position is located in our downtown Saskatoon location and reports to the Creative Director.

This role will be part of the Storytelling & Content Services team and will focus on working in conjunction with the various teams at Métis Nation-Saskatchewan to deliver and share with our citizens the important knowledge from Métis history. Our history has been traditionally oral in nature however through creative video and audio productions it is time to focus on sharing these stories that are rooted in Métis language, culture and history to be told to future generations. The Storytelling Producer will manage key areas of delivery - video channels, streaming channels and podcasting channels while weaving the Métis narrative throughout all forms of media for our citizens. This role requires being able to work under tight deadlines and your vision

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop, enhance and deploy video and audio content for public, internal and government audiences.
- Capture & craft stories that deliver a consistency in tone, language and substance.
- Help maintain our high level of brand awareness and accuracy.
- Work with the Creative Director to help develop creative content.
- Capture, edit and deploy digital content for our channels.
- Work with special projects on content for our networks.
- Develop storyboards & scripts for video and audio production.
- Manage production and scheduling for video and audio production.
- Manage audio & video production from vendors.
- Provide final files for content distribution.
- Maintain an archive of projects completed for recall.
- Other duties assigned

**Qualifications**:

- 3 - 5 years in video & audio production.
- Computer experience: Mac platform with extensive knowledge in the Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effect, Premier, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience with SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams. 3D experience is a plus.
- Ability to learn and grow with the Métis Nation-Saskatchewan through our shared experiences.
- Passionate about collaborating with the team on concepts and strategy.
- Excellent English written and verbal communications skills. Knowledge or familiarity with Michif, French, Dene, or Cree an asset.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Understanding of Métis Culture, Citizens and Communities.
- Keen knowledge of creating contents for digital marketing, video, audio (podcasting), and social media.
- Knowledge of project management and scheduling software.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate effectively and confidently to all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated creative and strategic thinker with incredible attention to detail.
- Can take project from the start to the finish line with the creative team and genuinely enjoys engaging with colleagues to get work done.
- Ability to work independently and multitask within calendar deadlines and deliverables.
- The ability to work on site or hybrid.
- Ability to navigate an ever evolving, changing work environment.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Must undergo a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must have completed or willing to complete CPR certification.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00-$89,632.00 per year
