We have proudly been serving Truro and surrounding areas since 2010 along with our sister store in New Glasgow which opened in 2012 We believe pets are undeniably part of the family, and our passion is helping fellow pet parents find solutions to help provide their companion pets with the best life possible.

- **Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities**:_
- Share your expertise in pet care and nutrition to help fellow pet parents make informed decisions to support the overall health and well-being of their companion pets
- Build lasting customer relationships
- Assist your team in all aspects of operating the workplace (inventory maintenance, merchandising, store cleanliness, etc.) and creating a fun, inviting space for all
- Undergo frequent product training
- Represent Global Pet Foods at local events
- Assist in job shadowing for new employees

- **Retail Sales Associate Qualifications and Skills**:_
- **1 Year of Experience Required**:

- The ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- A genuine interest in animal care and well-being (caring for your own pet or volunteering with pets is a strong asset)
- **The ability to lift and stack up to 33lbs/Comfortable using ladders/can stand for long periods of time**:

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and numeracy skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work shifts on weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
